Black Forest Labs unveils Flux 3 Image with multi-step editing and 4K output

Black Forest Labs has released Flux 3 Image, a new model in its Flux 3 lineup for AI image generation. According to the announcement cited by Techub News and sourced to The Decoder, the model supports multi-step editing, letting users change specific parts of an image while keeping the rest intact. It also allows scene composition with bounding boxes and as many as 10 reference images. The model supports image output at up to 4K resolution. Black Forest Labs said the open-source weights will be released in the coming weeks. The update adds another model to the company’s Flux 3 series and outlines several editing and composition features the company is highlighting at launch.
